We make the chair. We also make every part that wears out.
Maktune Technologies builds ergonomic office chairs in India — and sells the base, the gas lift, the castors, the mechanism and the armrests as individual spare parts, so a worn component never means a new chair.
Why we sell parts
Most office chairs fail one component at a time. A gas lift stops holding height. A castor seizes and gouges the floor. An armrest pad wears through. None of that is the end of a chair — but if nobody sells you the part, it becomes the end of a chair anyway.
We started on the parts side. Our bases, castors, gas lifts, mechanisms and armrests have been on Amazon India for over two years, bought mostly by people repairing a chair somebody else built. That taught us exactly which components fail, how they fail, and what a replacement has to get right to actually fit.
So when we built our own chair, we built it out of parts we already stock — and we kept selling every one of them separately. If something on a Maktune chair wears out in year four, the replacement is a catalogue item, not a warranty argument.
Designed and manufactured in India. We sell direct, which is why a chair with this specification is not priced like one that has passed through a showroom.
How we work
Made in our own factory
The components on this site are the components we build with. Country of origin on every listing is India.
Sold as individual parts
Every wearing component is a separate line item with its own model number, so you order the one thing that failed.
Certified where it counts
Our gas lift carries SGS and BIFMA certification and is explosion-proof rated — the component where safety actually matters.
Not sure which part you need?
Send us a photo of your chair and we will tell you which component fits — or tell you honestly if ours does not.
