Support & policies

Ordering & delivery

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders dispatch within 24–48 hours. Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your pincode, and shipping is free on every order across India.

Can I pay cash on delivery?

Yes. Cash on delivery is available across India, and is currently the only payment method at checkout.

Do you deliver everywhere in India?

We ship across India and shipping is free on every order. If your pincode turns out to be unserviceable, we will tell you before we take the order any further.

Can I get a GST invoice?

Yes. Add your GSTIN when you place the order, or email us with your order ID and we will reissue the invoice.

Returns & warranty

What if the product does not suit me?

Unused products in their original packaging can be returned within 10 days of delivery for a full refund. Start the return from your account, or email us.

What does the warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects, on terms that differ by component rather than one blanket figure: 10 years on castors, 2 years on the frame, base, gas lift, tilt mechanism and armrests, and 1 year on the mesh back. Seat and armrest cushions are covered for 2 years against manufacturing defects, but wear and tear is not a claim. Cover follows the component, so a castor is covered for 10 years whether it came fitted to your chair or you bought it as a spare. The full terms are on the support page — keep your order ID handy for a fast claim.

A part failed. What do I do?

Email us with your order ID and a photo of the failed part. If it is inside its warranty term we replace it — we do not ask you to ship a broken castor back across the country first.

Fitting the part

Will a spare part fit my chair?

Every part we list is the same component we build our own chairs with, and the fittings are the sizes used across most Indian office chairs. If you are not sure which one you need, email support@maktune.com with a photo and we reply within one business day — including telling you if ours will not fit.

Do I need tools?

Castors and the gas lift push and pull out by hand — no tools. Armrests and the tilt mechanism are bolted, so you will need a spanner or an Allen key; the armrest set ships with its screws.

My chair sinks when I sit on it. Which part is that?

That is the gas lift, almost always. It is the single most common failure on a rolling chair and the cheapest thing on this site to put right.

My chair will not stay reclined. Which part is that?

That is the tilt mechanism plate under the seat — the part that carries the gas lift socket and the tilt lock. It is a bolt-on replacement.

About the chair

How is the Maktune Flex different from a cheaper mesh chair?

The back. It uses a self-supporting arched backrest with a dual-frame lateral flex design, so it moves side to side as you reach instead of holding you square. It locks at five recline positions — 90°, 105°, 115°, 125° and 135° — and the recline resistance sets itself to your body weight rather than needing a tension knob.

Is it hard to assemble?

No. It arrives as a three-step assembly with the hardware included — base, gas lift, seat.

What if I want to replace something on it later?

That is the point of the range. The wheels, gas lift, mechanism, armrests and pads are all sold individually under their own model numbers, so a repair years from now is a catalogue order.

Still not sure which part you need?

Send a photo of your chair. We will tell you which component fits — and say so if ours does not.
