A back that moves with you

The backrest is a self-supporting arch rather than a panel bolted to a post. Its dual-frame construction lets the back flex laterally — so when you turn to reach a drawer or lean across a desk, the chair goes with you instead of holding you square.

Over a nine-hour day that is the difference between a chair you sit in and a chair you fight. The mesh itself is a woven panel held in tension by the frame, so it takes your shape without a foam layer to compress and flatten over a year.

Five positions, and each one locks

A free-floating recline pushes back for as long as you are sitting in it. A locked one holds the angle you chose and stops asking. The Flex gives you five to choose from.

Resistance is set by auto-weight — the mechanism reads your body weight and sets its own tension. There is no knob to wind, which also means there is no knob to get wrong.

Set once, then forget about it

The headrest moves through height and angle. The armrests move through height, depth and rotation. Between them that is enough to fit the chair to you rather than the other way round.

And when an armrest eventually cracks or its pad wears through, the arm is a part you can order — not a reason to replace the chair.

Seven centimetres of foam, and a back that does the rest

The seat is a 7 cm high-density foam cushion. High-density matters more than thickness on a chair you sit in all day: it is the property that decides whether the cushion is still the same shape in a year.

We are not going to make health claims about a chair. What we can tell you is what it is made of and how it moves: a tensioned mesh back that flexes with you, a recline that sets its own resistance from your weight, and a seat that keeps its shape. What that feels like over a nine-hour day is a question the reviews below answer better than we can.
